im back from KL!
Sunday:
meet eddie at 8pm at hougang mall, took a bus to golden mile. ivy and co were late! made us wait so freaking long. set off at 10pm, and the bus sucks. super duper uncomfortable, and i could hardly sleep. ):
Monday:
reached KL at about 5am. walked around to look for hotel, and finally found one at about 5.40am. checked in at 6, put down our bags and then went for breakfast. they have this very cute yong tau hu. the noodles for the yong tau hu is actually chee cheong fun. ate other food like fish porridge, fishball noodles, kong ba pao as well. delicious! (:
went back to hotel to sleep cos we are really tired. woke up at 10.30 and walked to times square. only 1/3 of the shops are opened i think. so we went to the indoor themepark. went on this saddist ride which is spinning at like 156458425021215847km per hour. almost went crazy. next was this ride which lifts you up and start spinning. argh. i think i got acrophobia. ): after that was the stupid roller coaster which is like ________. luckily i didn't have my specs on if not i will go crazy if i can see everything clearly. next was the bumper cars (?). the girls are kinda unwilling to ride and so we are the passengers. and i can conclude that eddie is not a good driver cos he kept bumping around and kept hitting my knee. ):
bowling after that at this super big place. 48 bowling alleys! (ok. i think im kinda sua ku) anyhow threw the ball and then went for lunch at some roadside coffee shop. took a cab to mid valley shopping centre and did my pedicure there. RM37.80 only! which is about S$17 for classic pedicure! but then the service there is not as good as singapore, especially the cutting of cuticles part. almost killed me. ): didn't buy much stuffs because those shops like far east kind are very malaysian, which looks like city plaza shirt. only clothes from mango are cheap. the rest are more expensive than singapore. =\
took cab to chinatown and it's like bugis street. the whole street is full of fake goods like ralph lauren, LV, Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Anna Sui, Rolex! see until you giddy ah. bought a LV wallet for darl and RM35. ate claypot rice, bbq fish, bbq lala, lok lok at the road side, and then went back to our hotel.
came down to eat again. satay, bbq chicken wings, cockles, dessert. super nice. the guys came up to our room to play cards but then im too tired already so i slept first.
Tuesday:
woke up at 10am. and the guys (ok la, only eddie and guowei) kept complaining i sleep so long bla bla bla. =\ then went for brunch, and went to times square again because eddie wants to buy bag. took cab to KLCC, the twin tower there. and it's like raffles city/taka cos all the high end shops are there: LV, Gucci, Chanel, BVLGARI, Burberry, Coach, Ferragammo.... they are all at first floor of the shopping mall and the toilet at that level actually cost RM2! gold plated toilet bowls! =\ almost went up to the bridge of the twin towers. we had to wait super long to go up and we are afraid we can't catch the bus back to singapore. so we didn't go up. took a cab to Pudu Raya bus station (that's where we alight) and then we couldn't find the place to check in. it's actually at Pasar Rakyat. =\ we should board the bus at where we alight what. stupid agency. cabbed down to pasar rakyat and thank god we didn't miss the bus. reached tuas at around 8pm. reached golden mile at about 8.45, dinner at bugis and reached home at 11. tired tired tired. ):
